[gps-talkusers] Re: off subject which phone to get for overseas use?

CDMA phones are generally specific to Northern America. CDMA phones are
Verizon and Sprint phones. GSM are the ones that are  universal and work no
matter the area, but it is better to get one unlocked as you will not be
tied to a carrier. GSM phones are AT&T and T-Mobile within the US.
