[gps-talkusers] Re: not what it seems

someone needs to get in the face of these American phone companies, the line
of branded smart phones that are marketed here is diminishing. I just
heard that AT&T discontinued the Pantic Duo. .

Hi, andy,
That's what I tried to do. Neiter AT & T nor Verizon had *any* of the
phones listed on code factory's site. I lie: the Verizon had some old
discarded Motorola Q9 kicking around. And AT & T had the HTC fuse or fusion
or whatever it is. That's it.
I've also heard that AT & T's $89 version of mobile speak they will
install on certain phones is on ancient and overstocked phones, and that it
can not be transferred to a new phone. So for mobile geo purposes, it's kind
of useless, right?

Well, the best thing that you can do is to make a list of phones and go to a
store and see if you can put your hands on some of them. Really, it's all
about feel, the size and prominance of keys, etc. You can't find out about
this tuff without checking it out for yourself.

Hi, all,
Now, no matter how it seems, I'm not asking about accessible cell
phones. Really, truly...
I'm trying to sort out the incomprehensible list of phones on the code
factory site that will run mobile speak and mobile geo.
At the moment, I'm a verizon customer, so which of those phones are
Verizon phones? I'm not entirely averse to leaving Verizon, but if I go with
another carrier, I want to buy the phone with a contract, because it's so
much cheaper than buying the phone on its own. As most of you probably
know, some of these phones cost a couple hundred dollars but are free with
that new every 2 contract or even an initial contract, right? ,
Help if you can, and if you think anyone/everyone will get annoyed, write me
off list.
Alice, totally confused
