It has a walking mode, don't know if there is any advantage to it, but it's 
nice that we have another option. I have several on my iphone, let's see, 
navigon, tomtom, motionx gps, mapquest, garmin street pilot, and now the 
magellan road mate app, and of course sendero look around.
