Mike I like the idea especially some of the technology topics. I realize
that this would be geared towards a braud audience but some general
overviews on the correction technologies or possibly the next gen of GPS
that's slated to hit the scene in 09 is it? There's never any harm with
understanding better what's going on under the hood as long as it doesn't
put folks to sleep in the process.

Subject: [gps-talkusers] new chat concept
Hi Folks,
Our original concept with our weekly chat room was that new users would
have a free place to come and ask questions. They could hear from the
experts as well as other users. We haven't found that very many people
have taken advantage of this service.
I am thinking I will organize a once a month seminar on GPS that is more
generic in nature. For example, let's have an expert on WAAS and assisted
GPS present to users. We could get someone from our map company, Tele
Atlas, to tell us about the details of collecting and updating data. There
are all sorts of GPS topics we could probably cover that would be of
interest to the entire accessible GPS community.
I need to get a couple months lined up before we launch this and we won't
necessarily discontinue the weekly chats but we might.
