Hi List,
I flew from Tel Aviv to Vienna and then to Copenhagen this evening. I then
took a train from Copenhagen to Malmo Sweden at which point I took a taxi
to Lund Sweden.
The taxi driver also had a navigation system. I gave him my hotel address
and we both entered it into our respective units. For some reason, he
couldn't pull it up but I did. Charles just sent me the maps for Sweden
this morning so it was fun to see them working well. I sure needed the
braille display in order to tell the driver which streets to turn on. He
got a good laugh out of my attempts to pronounce the long Swedish street
names. It seems like magic to me to be able to arrive in a completely
unfamiliar place and pretend like you know where you are going.
The only bummer is the fact that my bag didn't make the connection. Now it
will chase me around the world. Ah well.
