Hi Dennis,
I believe you either need to change where GPS looks for the maps, or copy
the files straight to the card without putting them in a "maps" folder.

Subject: [gps-talkusers] maps
After having had my Braillenote for two years and having had it upgraded to
an empower last March, I've finally got my GPS system up and running. I
downloaded the California folders to my compact flash card and put them in a
folder called maps. When I pressed N for navigation I was told no maps
loaded. So I took a folder and copied it into my maps folder. What actually
happened was the files from the California|1-35 were loaded but not the
complete folder. When I pressed N again So what I have on my compact flash
is a folder called maps with the map files and not the folders they were
created in in my maps folder.
Sorry if this doesn't make much since, but if there is anyone out there who
would like to advise me I would appreciate it or I can just go on
experimenting.
Thanks,
Dennis
