[gps-talkusers] map data

Jerry,

There are different levels of map data that the map suppliers offer 
vendors. We license the highest quality type they offer. We can't change 
the street map data.

Our added value is in how the data is communicated to the user. 90% of the 
verbosity we offer would be of little interest to most sighted users. Mass 
market talking GPS products are geared to announce that it is time to turn 
but they don't tell you the name of the street or the cross street. You 
can't of course use the menus or set a route to begin with. Sendero's 
software adds the verbosity a blind user needs.
