Hi!
Yes you can by all means copy that file onto the same card your maps are on and 
then move it into the pk.
I always keep a backup on at least 2 flash cards as a couple of years ago I 
lost the files which ran the gps and had to call California for them to e-mail 
me a back of the program files.
