The Earthmate Blue Logger is made by Delorme. The antenna and chip appear to be exactly the same as the serial Earthmate being used with the BrailleNote. It is physically more elongated than the serial Earthmate. It is about 3 inches long and an inch and a half wide. It is about half an inch thick. It has a battery pack that extends almost the entire length of the unit. It does not have the opeion of triple A batteries the way the serial Earthmate does.
