You can also put the maps on any type of storage media, as long
as it has enough space. I am not sure if you have the program or
not, but you can just transfer the maps and other data from the
CF card. You can also use a PCMCIA adapter in the side slot; as
long as the CF card itself is not the problem, the adapter should
work fine. Just change the setting in gps > options > map and poi
folder to the current drive/directory in which all maps and pois
end up.

Hello all
I had someone see why I couldn't load the cf cards. We
discovered that a couple of the pins are bent so I guess I will
have to wait to wirk on the gps until I can send my unit back to
get fixed. That will be a few months before I can aford it. Is
their anything I can do about learning the gps until I am able to
learn how to use the gps itself?
