[gps-talkusers] Re: gps and 7.2 Question about Task Switching

Keysoft 7.2 and Sendero GPS

As Carl has stated yes Keysoft 7.2 does have the new Task switching to GPS (Yeah!) Thanks Humanware! What this will do with all GPS versions is bring you to the GPS menu, you will then still need to type N or G to get into the GPS program. If you had a route open when you switched out of the program it will be closed and you will have to reload it. The next version of GPS will have these issues addressed.

Keysoft 7.2 also fixed another GPS issue which they broke in 7.0 which is Questions the GPS program asks you previously echoed back your key response (i.e. you pressed Y and then heard nothing) now you will hear "Yes" spoken after you press Y. This use to work in Keysoft 5 & 6 and will now work again in 7.2. Thanks Humanware!

Tom and List,

The good news answer to your question is yes. Keysoft 7.2 will support GPS
task switching. Now the bad news, Task switching will not be implemented in
Version 3.5. To implement task switching there will have to be some
additional coding within the GPS program. This function is on our list for
the next release.

Hi,
Has anybody from Sendero recently talked to Humanware about including GPS in

the task list? Will we see that in KS 7.2?

Tom
