Howard,
I reached that stage when upgrading software on one occasion and nothing seemed to work.
In the end, I found I had to do C1-C4 two or three times and suddenly it sprung back into life! <Smiles> 

It sure did beat sending the machine in to Humanware!

Incidentally, be sure you have it plugged into the power ...
