I was very pleased by how quickly the received found satellites and began
feeding me information. Unfortunately, much of the information it fed me
was incorrect. On too many occasions, it announced distances not even close
to reality. Also, it kept telling me locations were on my right when they
were actually on my left. For example, I was passing in from of a store at
my left when I received the news that the store was 120 feet away at my
right. So why is this happening, and what can I do about it? Is the
problem with the maps, the program, the receiver, or with me? Under some
circumstances, this kind of misinformation could actually be dangerous.
