I would like to commend the Seeing Eye for hosting the first ever demonstration
and presentation of the 3 accessible GPS systems, side-by-side, this week. For
quite some time, Sendero's was the only GPS game in town. Now consumers have
options. They were able to hear presentations from all 3 manufacturers as well
as experiencing walking demos around Morristown. In addition, the Seeing Eye is
offering training for their dog users on all 3 systems. Although I would love
to see everyone opt for the Sendero GPS, as a blind consumer, I understand not
one size fits all. It is wonderful when users can have an informed choice and I
hope other organizations take the Seeing Eye's lead in this regard.
