When you say you've checked the location, do you mean you've made sure they're
on your storage device or that you've gone through GPS Options and set the path
location for the GPS program to look for these files. If you haven't done the
later, go to GPS Options and select the drive & directory (and subdirectories
if necessary) where your POI files are located.
