[gps-talkusers] Re: e: re4: traffic noise

Actually, in my own situation, a speaker is unworkable because I am in
situations where I am close to other people who do not want to hear the
chatter. I use and recommend the small earphone that Scott Marshall
spoke of in an earlier post. It is called the Williams surround sound
ear piece. I got it from cardinal Sound in Maryland for about $12. I
understand that C crane sells either that earphone or something similar
for around $10. it fits over and behind the ear in such a way that the
speaker sits just outside the ear canal, so you can hear the audio
source and still hear ambient noise.

Hello all
Yes there is a need for a small speaker to use when walking on busy
roads, I use the Radioshack mini speaker but even this is realy too big
with yet another wire flapping about, it really would be an important
asset if sendero were to make a small speaker an option.
