Steve and All,

I would like to just add that the time to first fix is not dependant on the 
GPS solution, but rather the GPS receiver one is using. For example, if you 
are using an earthmate it would take much longer to acquire a fix as 
compared to the holux. It might take even twice as long in some situations.
