Debbie said in part:
A couple of the things I didn't like were all the cords and wires, ...
The Trekker connects in similar fashion as GPSNote; a blue-tooth satellite
receiver. The only chord is for an external speaker, if you choose to use one.
I have not had the problem of the overlay slippage that Debbie also referenced
on our demo unit.
I have had to wait considerably longer to acquire a position fix. Therefore,
because of the extra features, ease of text entry, and quicker and more
reliable
satellite fixes, I chose the GPSNote as my personal unit. But, the Trekker
will
meet most users needs as well, and certainly will if budgetary considerations
are a factor.
