I would rather have it as an option I can turn on or off.  It can be
another kind of "look-around" option or, of course, an option by itself.
I do think providing the choice as to whether or not cross streets are
announced is the better way to go.

Now, there is one slight issue to wort out with this feature request.

Remember that GPS accuracy changes a lot. If you are stopped or slowed
down near an intersection, it is very possible that your position may
flick between the street you are traveling on and the one you are
crossing. Therefore, if you drop the announcement of both streets, it is
possible that you will ocasionally receive an cross street announcement
of the street that you are on rather than the correct one you are
crossing.

One way we could deal with that is to announce the cross street, as you
are suggesting, only over 15 miles per hour and then we would leave the
behavior under 15 miles per hour the same as it is.

Another question about this feature:

Is there reason to create an option of cross street announcement only or
should this be the regular behavior? Every time we add an option, we
also add complexity. Perhaps we don't need to have the street you are on
announcing all the time.
