Hello Jeremy,
I don't advice you to download these huge files using your
BrailleNote, I would suggest using a Windows PC and use IE or

Firefox

and changes the security settings there if needed.  There are two
reasons for this.  1.  the map and poi files are huge, and 2.

they are

zipped up and the BrailleNote does not have a supported unzip

utility.
