hi,
i bought my braillenote gps sight unseen at csun in 2002. not one day have i
looked back and regretted it.
that was version 1. now we are on version 3 wich is light years ahead of what
version 1 was.
i remember driving in a car with my wife and mother in law.
they were talking and mother inlaw wasn't paying attention.
i said to her, you are going in the wrong direction because i had marked the
place we were going as a pont of interest and then set it as a destination.
this was version 1 and that was cool.
then being able to know where you are when you are walking is great also.
took it on vacation one time and my wife and i who is also totally blind was
able to navigate around a strange city to get to the boardwalk where we wanted
to go.
it's not just for driving.
