There are USB CD ROM drives, but they require the installation of
drivers, and the BN does not support 3rd party drivers.  One of the
reasons why I switched to Pacmate.

thanks lots for your explaination.
Is their such a thing as a portable cd drive?  I have daisy formatted
bbooks 
for school.    It would be nice to have something so I am not stuck at
the 
computer.  The books are both text and audio files so my daisy player
won't play them.  Can the braille note play them?
