[gps-talkusers] e: Re: e: Comparison of Holux vs. EarthMate

Hello,
You can either buy the Holux over the phone through Sendero, at 530-757-6800 or through their website at www. senderogroup. com.
Good luck,
Robert

Hello Kevin,
I am very happy with the holux.
I had the earthmate, and I find the switch on the holux much
easier, and I get 11 to 12 satellites when traveling on a bus.
So I would definately recomend the Holux.
Robert

Dear Listers,
I have a question for users who used the EarthMate GPS reciever,
then switched to the Holux reciever. I have heard that there is
a great deal of difference with the ease of turning the reciever
on and off, being able to get more satellites, being able to get
a fix quicker, and also being able to get satellites in
locations
where you found it hard to get satellites before using the
EarthMate.

So, I was wondering what is your opinion on this from a user's
perspective.
Kevin
