in your case you could if you can have sighted help create your
own pois and routes but it takes time and you need the sighted
help to do this. one quick example is-- when leaving your house
for the railray station when at your gate create a point of
interest at the gate and call it my gate. then when on the way
to the rail station get whoever is with you to tell you different
info about where you are as you create your route you can then
drop waypoints or pois until you reach the railway station.
