That's cool compared to when I was there. I was in Scots Del, and it got to
118.

Yes, it is 96 right now acording to the weather channel. Went up a degree
in a few minutes so. I do a lot of checking out routes and things places i
might like to go as it cools down and of course, I take it when I am in a
car to check out where we are going but yeah, can't wait til it cools off!
I sat outside yesterday just for some fresh air,and after about 20 minutes
had to come in. I guess everywhere has something though.

I don't have the pk, but use it on the m-power. You'll love it! I have
had mine about a month and don't leave home with out it! It is sooooo
nice to have info on what is going by and to map areas I might like to
visit.

Cheree Heppe here:
Actually, I am open to re-correspond, even if both our memories of
previous contacts may be a bit foggy.
I am a dog guide owner from way back, beginning in 1970 and get around
with a long cane respectably.
My current dog guide is a male German shepherd dog named Graeme. I
brought him from Toronto in late 1999.
I just started learning the Sendero GPS for PK yesterday. Thanks to
Gil in the mid-west and Chris G (in Buffalo, NY, I think) for help
getting my systems up and running. I had the GPS operating through the
Braille readout of the PK on our Portland, Oregon public transport.
Very interesting!
I think with this Sendero software and GPS receiver device, once I
really grasp the informational possibilities, I'm going to be
traveliciously invincible!!
Regards,
Cheree Heppe

Cheree Heppe here:
Which brand of laptop did you see at the ACB Convention?
This refers to the small laptop running System Access software.
Info appreciated.

One of the more intriguing things I saw at the Acb convention
was a very small laptop running System Access software. This device
was about half the width of a normal laptop, was light weight, & cost
approximately $400.
Perhaps it is time again for Sendero to consider a version for
laptops.
