hi there on a train it will be impossible for any gps system to
create a route as the map data only covers roads. the only way
to find your way on a train is to set railway stations as either
poi's or waypoints. in the uk most of the stations come up so
which ever station you want just set it as a destination and keep
pressing d to find how far away you are. i think to try and go
down the route option is a poor way of doing it. it is the same
sort of process for walking in fields not that i do that smile.
