Andy,

I purchased the headset from the local Radio Shack along with the dongle. I 
personally prefer to go into the physical store and purchase items like 
this, because I am able to physically check it out and make sure that it 
works as I expect it to. If one were to purchase and use the headset, there 
will be no interference with the bluetooth receivers. Bluetooth signals work 
independant of one another.
