[gps-talkusers] Re: e: Re: Announcing the release of Mobile Geo

I ordered it last month and got called today about the release. It is an
expensive, but hopefully worthwhile undertaking.
The Mobile Geo bundled with Mobile Speaks is $1190in the products
catalogue listing of Sendero.

I also ordered the Holex 1000 GPS receiver.

The cell phone was a scary trip to our Canadian service provider. Code
Factory listed the HTC5800as a compatible phone and the phone, charger
and extneded warranty on the phone was $620 Canadian.

I am really excited about the portability of having everything work
together.

Right now I am thinking it best to ship my new cell phone to California
to have Sendero get it all working with the geo mobile, mobile speaks
and the receiver. I am not too technically inclined. However I am sort
of second guessing that and wondering if I am being a little over
cautious and if I should just have Sendero ship everything here and I'll
figure out how it all gets downloaded and installed. I have two fully
sighted family members. I seem to remember something about it being best
to have sighted assistance when pairing blue tooth.

Does anyone have any recommendations on whether I am being silly in
thinking Sendero needs to do all the steps.

Feel free to answer off-list if this isn't felt to be a relevent
question for the list.

Thank-you for any responses.
