Interesting ... I have had quite the opposite experience with the earthmate being much faster both here in Arizona and in Ohio.

Hello,
I have used both the earthmate serial gps and now the earthmate blue logger.
As far as I can tell, the accuracy is the same, but what I have noticed, is that the time it takes to get a fix is much faster on the blue logger then it is on the serial receiver.
I also like not having to carry cables anymore, because there were times when the cable going from the receiver to the battery pack would get caught on a bus pole as I was exiting the bus and now I don't have to worry about that.
