Hi Robert,
You mentioned using the Earthmate receivers on the bus. How do you find the
Blue Logger to work in that situation? For, often when I use that receiver
rather than the GlobalSat BT-338, I find my locations just don't seem to be
given as accurately. I mean, for example, I know what street the bus is
going down, but it often tells me I'm going down the cross street, whereas I
very seldom have that problem with the BT-338. Of course, even in doing
that, the Blue Logger is reasonably close to my position, but just doesn't
seem to be as accurate as the BT-338, at least not while riding the city
bus, anyway. And, oh, yes, I do use the Blue Logger on my shoulder, while I
use the BT-338 with it in my purse.

Hello,
I have used both the earthmate serial gps and now the earthmate blue logger.
As far as I can tell, the accuracy is the same, but what I have noticed, is
that the time it takes to get a fix is much faster on the blue logger then
it is on the serial receiver.
I also like not having to carry cables anymore, because there were times
when the cable going from the receiver to the battery pack would get caught
on a bus pole as I was exiting the bus and now I don't have to worry about
that.
Hope this helps.
Robert
