Hi,
Not sure which is better in terms of speed but the one thing to think about
is that a thumb drive protrudes a lot further from the unit than a CF card
and so you may wish to consider this if you're going to use the unit on the
move which, after all, is its primary use!

Hi. I have found thumb drives are cheaper than cf cards. Does it matter
which I use to download my maps his At best buy eight gig thumb drives are
100 cheaper than a 4 gig cf card. Later.
