It doesn't look like this message went out. Excuse me if it did.
I had one of the more unusual and exciting GPS demos Thursday morning. I was
invited to be on Stevie Wonder's radio station, KJLH in Los Angeles. He show
cases up and coming artists and community agencies. Being a PK GPS user, he
wanted the general public to learn about the technology.
Stevie first interviewed me in the studio and then he asked the producer to go
with me to find a place called the Serving Spoon. I did a quick search to make
sure it was in the database and it was, about 1.25 miles away.
We headed out in Jamie's car with the producer in the back seat. She had a cell
phone connected to the radio station and we gave play by play announcements of
our progress. When we arrived at the Serving Spoon, they had been listening to
the radio and were therefore out front waving their hands wildly. I breathed a
huge sigh of relief when I heard the arrived at destination voice. Talk about a
pressure demo!
I also used my GPS to guide me to Mr. Chow's in Beverly Hills where we had
dinner. It was quite the celebrity hang out. Usher was there and we met Elton
John. Pretty darn good food and service too. I navigated us back to the hotel
at 1:30 in the morning to conclude a pretty exciting day of GPS travel.
