I understand that, but if you are usign the new gps carrying case, you have
the accessory pouch on the back, velcrowed to it, doesn't it look akward
having the flapp hang open.  Also, that does expose, the keys, and pins of
the braille display to more external dust, than what happens inside.

the case is about $60, or so (maybe higher, but well worth the expense.)
