Hi, Justin and listers,
I, too, thought the flap of the carrying case hanging down was odd-looking
and possibly dangerous, so I bought some strips of velcro and placed two
strips on the cover flap and the other two strips on the underside of the
case. So now when I want to walk I open the flap until it hits the
underside of the case and the velcro hold it there. The backs of the strips
of velcro were very sticky so I had to be careful when sticking them to the
case but it seems to work very well to keep the flapout of the way but not
hanging down either. In doing it this way I cannot carry the gps pouch with
me but I don't find this to be a problem.
