Howard,
Weird stuff can happen with the GPS. This is why we always recommend
that users double check headings. There is a document we provide on
the CF card with new units called GPS accuracy. This explains in much
detail all the things that can impact GPS accuracy. The more you know
about the things that can throw it off, th better you can compensate.
Maybe we can paste that information into an email one of these days
as a super tip of the week.

I took my gps 4.22 and holex 1000 with my Braille note PK out

three times in my travels, the gps got lost, and thought I was 2
blocks or so away from where I was. Once it thought I was on the
other side of a busy street and intersection.
Once this happened while I was following a route, and twice when I
was just traveling.
Questions:
1. Is their anything I can adjust to prevent this?
2. What might cause this?
The area is in the city, but not in an area of high
buildings. Their might be radio transmissions near the holex
receiving frequency, but I do not have a spectrum analyzer that will
go that high.
