Are you receiving this information only once after successfully connecting to 
your receiver or perhaps once every 12 seconds? If you
are receving it after successfully connecting to your receiver after entering 
the program or wit the Reconnect to receiver command
then it is expected.

Kevid, the one announcement I kept getting yesterday was that my 
receiver was connected and how many satellites.  But I think 
maybe I just have to get used to that announcement.  It's sure 
great in other ways, and I can filter out what I don't need,
