[gps-talkusers] attached text file to poi versus writing detail in edit mode

I'm curious. What is the advantage of attaching text file to poi
versus writing in the detail for the poi in edit mode. I'm just
wondering since similar detail can be wrtten in the detail field
as compared to an attached text file.
