Thank you so much Mike. I'll be sure to remove any cards prior to resetting
my braille note.

Subject: [gps-talkusers] advisory about the 8GB storage card
For those of you who invest in an 8 GB compact flash card, please be aware
of the following. I know from personal experience that having a card with
this large capacity is wonderful but devistating if one does not follow
proper procedures. I have never had a problem with a 1, 2 or 4 GB card. I
believe the 8GB is a bit more temperamental.
Warning: The 8GB compact flash card works very well as a mass storage
device, however, it may be erased and permanently damaged if you press reset
while the card is in the BrailleNote or VoiceNote. You must remove the 8GB
card before performing a reset. Failure to do so may result in complete loss
of all data on the card as well as a compact flash card which no longer
functions. HumanWare recommends that all storage cards be removed before
performing a reset, no matter their capacity.
