Michael

It is usually the piece of road that connects a motorway to another road or
a roundabout. At motorway junction you will often be told

"Slight left on to ramp connecting to a roundabout"

Subject: [gps-talkusers] a question about landmarks

I have a question about landmarks, points of interest or whatever they
are.
What is the British term for a ramp when a turn talks about a ramp on
Braillenote GPS?
I guess it has nothing to do with wheelchair access or the thing
stuntmen use to launch cars from.
