Problem 1: Unable to Create Route and fiddling with GPS while on Bus. 
The "Unable to Create Route" message actually isn't caused from lack of
coverage but is actually caused when trying to create a vehicle route on a
class of road where vehicles are not allowed and vice-versa for pedestrian
routes. Personally, I just use the "getting warmer" method while on the bus.
I will set my destination to the intersection of the ending bus stop or to
the POI that I have marked. I will occasionally press D, which will tell me
how far I am from where I want to get off. The main reason I don't create a
route in this situation is because it isn't necessary as routes are mainly
used for directing someone or to be followed, which doesn't fit in this
case. Also, it isn't possible to create a vehicle or pedestrian route that
will follow the route of the bus.

Problem 2: Labeling Bus Stops. 
It looks like you are doing everything correct. I am not sure what you mmean
exactly by gets confused. As long as the correct POI is selected, there
shouldn't be an issue. I do this on a daily basis with a variety of bus
stops and BART stations and there are no problems.

i am still using version 4 of braillenote gps as i am at college 
and depend on the gps software when i am on the bus to get to 
holmfirth and i also have not upgraded the braillenote firmware.
i have two problems.
one is on the bus from huddersfield station it is a bit awkward 
generating a route from my poi because the bus is slightly 
covered by the station entrance.
sometimes it will allow me to generate a route and sometimes i 
get "unable to create route" message so i have to sometimes 
fiddle around while the bus is moving which isn't always ideal.
the second problem is to do with labelling my pois because i have 
two bus stops near my home, one takes me to flockton when i visit 
my parents and the other bus stop goes to huddersfield bus 
station to get me into town for the holmfirth bus when i go to 
college but it gets confused if you have pois labelled waterloo 
flockton and waterloo huddersfield.
this problem causes me to get an "arrrived" message way before 
the huddersfield bus stop.
what advice would you give me for labelling these points as it is 
clearly getting confused when i am walking to get to the 
huddersfield stop?
