[gps-talkusers] Re: Will Mobile Geo be available for cymbian?

Hi: - I have both Way Finder and the Sendero GPS and I will have to slightly
disagree with you here regarding the two products working the same. I get a
much accurate reading with my Sendero GPS than I do with the Way Finder
application. I guess it depends on the area that you use it in and how many
cell towers it has to bounce off of. I often find that, at least in my
area, the way finder tries to look over to far and reports intersecting
roads that are not related with the one you are on. For example: we have
two main thoroughways that run parrellell to each other but are separate by
several blocks distance. Often I find that the Way Finder will keep
reporting intersecting streeets that correspond with the other paraellell
road instead of the actual road I happen to be on, you wouldn't know that
this oddity was occuring if you didn't know and were unfamiliar with the
area. However, when using my Sendero GPS on the same route I don't run
across this problem and find that it accurately reports the intersecting
streets.

Actually, the product you are probably thinking of is way finder
access, and it does use GPS and map data just like Sendero GPS does.
For the most part, it does everything the Sendero GPS does.
