[gps-talkusers] Re: What effects will PDI's merger with Visuaide have on cooperation

Yeh /vincent, I was thinking the same thing. I haveboth of these products
and I can say with a great amount of certainty that the poi database in the
trekker is far more up-to-date than the Braille Note GPS.
Let me give you an example. In the village where I resideare a lot of
restaurants. One was called Bistro Gigi! Ok Bistro Gigi went out of business
in the year, 1998 and in 2000 a new restaurant called Latin Quarter came
into that space.
As of right now the Trekker tells me that at a certain address is "Latin
Quarter." I shift to the bn gps and at that same address is "bistro Gigi.A"
So in wanting information, I have sort of leaned towards the trekker however
in ease of use, it is certainly the Braille Note gps because I have so many
choices in how I can obtain my information.
