[gps-talkusers] Using Zip Codes to Find the Correct Intersection

This case required a little creativity. My objective was to see if I could
find and virtually walk around the neighborhood and house where I grew up 60
years ago. At that time the neighborhood was not in an incorporated area.
The community was known as Lakewood Village. In trying to find the
location, I could not find a Lakewood Village. I did find a Lakewood and a
Long Beach/Lakewood. The street I had lived on, Blackthorne, could not be
found in either city. I remembered that the nearest major street was
Lakewood Blvd. and found that it existed in both cities with many zip code
possibilities. I also remembered a major street that crossed Lakewood Blvd.
Trying this other street, Delamo, I again found that there were many zip
code possibilities in the two cities. However, there was only one zip code
that was common with both streets and I, therefore, chose that intersection
as my virtual position. From there, I virtually walked one block south and
two blocks east and I was virtually standing at the intersection of Arbor
Way and Blackthorne Ave., just six houses away from the house I grew up in.
Interestingly, setting this intersection as my virtual position, I now did a
[Ctrl+C] to determine what the city name was and then a [Ctrl+S] to search
for the exact address and the search was able to find it. Needless to say,
I set the house address as a user poi and started walking around my old
neighborhood.
