[gps-talkusers] Updating public user POI's

Hi All,
I'd like to be able to update some of the user POI's that I've
submitted, or even those submitted by others, to reflect changes of
names or companies, or add websites or phone numbers, but if I
re-submit them in an updated user.pdb file, will this not cause
duplications and confusions?
Putting it another way, is there a check for duplicated locations
with a mechanism for keeping only the most recent versions?
If not, what's the solution?
