In terms of Earthmate prices, if you could get the exact configuration that 
Sendero offers for the Earthmate from Delorme, the list price would be 
$260. This does not include the custom 8-inch serial cable Delorme made for 
us. This short cable now ships with the Sendero Earthmate receivers and 
replaces the serial cable that was a couple feet long and had to be bunched 
up in the serial pouch.

For those of you who got the longer cable and wish to get a short one, we 
will make it available for a reasonable price shortly, no pun intended.

Once we can lose the serial converter, I would hope the receiver cost would 
be cut in half.
