The correct version and build number for the Apex is GPS 6.2 Build 308. Ie:
GPSInstaller_6_2_Build_308.

For the mPower and PK the latest version is GPS 6.2 build 307.

Your install message has the wrong build # :)
5.  Press the reset button and wait a few seconds.  After the music plays
you will be asked to install GPSInstaller_6_2_Build_307.  Press Y to
continue installing Sendero GPS or press N to return to the main menu.
6.  You are then informed that the installation was successful and are
returned to the main menu.  You can start Sendero GPS by pressing the letter
N from the main menu without having to do any other reset.
