Because there is no way to independently tell when the battery on your GPS
receiver is low, it is a good idea to get into the habit of charging the
battery every couple days or so. You will not hurt the battery by doing this.
In a pinch you can connect the receiver to the BrailleNote/VoiceNote or Sense
note takers using a USB cable. This will power the receiver.
