There are two ways to do a test on a mailing list instead of writing to the 
list just as you have.  The two ways are to avoid from people seeing one's 
"test" message repetitiously.  I would kindly suggest you (and the others, 
also) use the two alternatives you could do on your own.  I have done that on 
other listings before, and they both work very well!  But I am not sure if it 
would work on freelists.org, so perhaps either Charles or Mike could tell us 
how?  This is only a suggestion y'all could use.

To Charles and Mike:  If you would like to converse with me on this particular 
issue above, please let me know, and we could do something about this issue so 
that it could be worked out for the members hereon.  Private e-mail is fine
