[gps-talkusers] Re: Thanks to Mike and Sendero

I strongly echo Joe's assessment and praise of Mike and his presentation at the Mass Commission!
It has inspired me to overcome the obstacles that have impeded me in the fullest possible use of the GPS. I've used it some, I've found it helpful in many ways, but I know I have not learned to use all the features in the best possible way, and I know there is a lot more I can do out there with the help of the GPS used to its maximum potential!

I want to personally and publically thank Mike May for his demonstration
at the Mass. Commission for the Blind in Boston last Wednesday. We had a
large attendance, both staff and consumers of the agency. He answered
everyone's questions, and was fair about comparisons with the
competition. He also explained both the pros and cons of GPS, and its
real world value for real people. I encourage agencies to invite Mike
May to their group or organization to talk about GPS and the benefits of
way-finding.
