While on the subject of modifications, I would like to resurrect my comments
of a month or so ago regarding modifications to the accessory pouch.
I have two suggested modifications for the pouch.
1. Cut a small slot in either or both ends of the pouch (if only one end,
the end nearest the serial port would be preferable) and put a small flap
over it for when not in use. This way, the GPS to serial cable or a cell
phone to serial cable could be fed out of the slot and would not have to be
rubbing on the zipper when traveling.
2. Put Velcro along the bottom of the pouch as is along the bottom of the
Braille Note case. This could be used in two ways: first as an attachment
point for the cover when folded back (I.e., the current Velcro strip that
holds the cover closed could be folded under and attached to this strip);
and second, if desired, a second accessory pouch could be "chained" to the
first pouch in the same manner as the first is attached to the Braille Note.

Mary Ellen,
The current BrailleNote case has snaps in addition to Velcrow to keep the
BN from falling out. Some of the first models did not have these snaps.
The Accessory pouch might lose some of its form if you cut the whole side
out for port openings. I can slice one up and see.
As far as floppy ears, get a German Shepherd.
